Hi, I'm Tess.

I believe that beneath mediums, technologies, and trends, it’s our individual eccentricities and shared experiences that drive human-centered design.
As designers, it is not only our job to identify and understand these behaviors, but to design our responses ethically and responsibly.

I believe good design is like a good friend: honest and intentional with a sense of humor. I hope to educate, inspire, and humanize through design by working with diverse teams that always ask “why”.

I earned my Master’s in Interaction Design from California College of the Arts in San Francisco, and I am currently working as a Product Designer at the customer data platform Segment. Previously, I was Senior Designer at digital film and advertising studio Portal A, and before that I was a Production Designer at Apple. Before that, I was a teenager, and prior to that, a baby. Let’s keep growing together.
